Miss International 2012 is the 52nd edition of the Miss International beauty pageant. Miss International has started earlier in Long Beach, California, USA in 1960 after the departure of the Miss Universe beauty pageant to Miami Beach. It was hosted in Long Beach until 1967. But now, Miss International beauty pageant has been held annually in Japan.

Miss International beauty pageant also known as 'Miss International Beauty'. Miss International 2012 taking place in Chengdu, Sichuan, China in November 2012. Miss International contestants are expected to serve as "Ambassadors of Peace and Beauty". The most significant goal of the Miss International beauty pageant is to promote world peace, goodwill and understanding.
